Date(s) and Time: Thursdays, 12 Noon - 2:00 p.m. beginning 7/22/2010 ending 8/19/2010. Extra time and help will be available on Mondays at 10 AM after the second week of class.

Description of the class or meeting This "hands on" class will help any person (PC or MAC) that wants to learn how to preserve memories in an attractive way. The class is structured so that a new or different skill/technique is learned with each class -- and if you miss a class it isn\'t a problem because each class starts as if the student does not have any previous knowledge. We will be working with the Photoshop Elements 7.0 that is already loaded onto the computers in classroom B, however the information is applicable to PSE 5.0 and higher. The students will be able to create entire albums using their own photos, in the classes using the software on the B classroom computers.
Each student will create digital scrapbook pages using THEIR OWN PHOTOS, in each class that they can take home for printing or upload to a commerical printer such as Costco or Walgreen\'s.

There will be a \"materials list\" sent to each person registered for the class that will need to be brought to class (i.e. their OWN PHOTOS, templates, freebies, etc. -and either a portable external harddrive or a flash drive to save their work... I recommend the portable external harddrive, but a 8GB flashdrive will also work for this purpose).

Every member who is interested in preserving their memories for future generations thru scrapbooking, telling their story thru photos or remembering people, places and things is invited to attend. You will learn to digital scrapbook with your pictures and computer, using Photoshop Elements! Learn to save your \"pages\" for printing or for the internet -- and know the difference! Create lasting memories in a scrapbook without the messy clutter of the paper supplies!
