Description & Instructor

New to Windows,  just purchased a new computer with the Windows operating system, or are simply uncomfortable with how to get around Windows, this is a basic beginner level class to help you out.  It’s a 1 hour class with hands-on learning.

Just like you have to perform periodic maintenance on your car to keep it running smoothly, your also should on your home PC. In this course, we will learn the importance of performing periodic maintenance of Windows 11 devices and keeping your PC healthy and happy. It this class we will step through some of the basic maintenance procedures as Listed below.

PART I WILL COVER THE FOLLOWING:

1_Introduction and Overview, 2_Documenting your PC, 3_Creating System Restore Points, 4_Installing and Using Microsoft PC Manager and the Microsoft Store, 5_StartUp Apps and Autorun Organizer.

Overview on Libre Office.  This is open source software that is free and runs on Windows, Apple, and Linux.  It supports, looks, and behaves like Microsoft Office and includes a Word (write), Excel (Calc), and Powerpoint (Presentation) applications.
